Using GIMP to prepare a single photograph to be turned into a video with motion and parallax effects in Blender.

Using a single photograph, GIMP can be used to prepare separate layer plates to be used in a 3D compositing software like Blender to produce a "2.5D" effect of motion parallax and animation.
